Summer Worship Schedule
Next week (Sun. May 27) is the first day of summer, as far as Faith Lutheran’s worship schedule is concerned. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, our worship times will be: 8:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, and 10:00 a.m. at Library Square Park in Hutchinson, weather permitting (the 10 a.m. rain site is Faith Lutheran Church). The only Sunday we will not be in the park this summer is Sunday, July 8. Click here for more information on our outdoor worship services.

Grief Group for Men
Sponsored by Connect Care, this is a support group for men only. It is free and consists of six session: May 7, 14, 21, 29, and June 4 and 11. See information on the bulletin board (outside the church office).
Faith Seniors
The monthly Seniors Potluck meeting for May is May 24th, beginning with our potluck dinner at 12:00 noon. The speaker will be Jan Novotny, who conducts “Caregiver Support” group meetings each month here in Hutchinson, through Lutheran Social Services. Come and hear an inspiring message, and bring a friend.
500 by 6/1
Faith Lutheran has a new Facebook goal: to have 500 fans “Like” our Facebook Page by June 1, 2012. We currently have 321 likes, so we’ve got a little ways to go. Our Facebook page is one of the best places to get up-to-date news, announcements and reflections from your church. Chances are that 70% of the people reading this came to this page because they clicked a link on Facebook. If you haven’t yet, visit the Facebook Page and click the “Like” button.
A Night of Music
Come listen to local Hutchinson High School talent as students perform covers of Adele, Coldplay, Mumford and Sons, and others, along with some original songs. Members of Faith Lutheran’s youth group are among the performers. Proceeds will go to the HHS music program. Tickets are $2 per person and $6 per family. The show starts at 7 pm (doors open at 6:30 in the HHS auditorium on Saturday, May 26.
Support/Discussion Group
Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Siblings: are you a relative caring for children who are not your own? You are NOT alone! Please join us on Tuesday, May 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the Early Childhood Building (775 School Rd. S.) for a Relatives as Parents Support/Discussion Group. Bring the children. There will be pizza, children’s activities, information, support, resources, and shared ideas. There is no fee to attend. Contact Cindy at 587-8908 or email ecfe@hutchtel.net with questions.

Thank You Notes
A special not of thanks to our musicians who play during Faith’s worship services throughout the year: Shirley Holtz, Marc Vaillancourt, Ronda Eckhart, Mona Hjerpe, Lara Liepold, Dick Nagy, DeNeil, Chad, and Mitchell Thompson, the Faith Singers, Women of Faith, Men of Faith, Ringers of Faith, Children’s Choir, everyone who has shared their gifts through special music during worship services, and all who participated in the special Good Friday choir. You all add so much to our worship services.
The radio broadcast is given by Allan and Linda Nyman in honor of Linda’s father’s 93rd birthday.
The flowers on the altar are given in memory of Merlin & JoAnn Jensen, by Jeff & Kayleen Jensen.
The set up crews for our outdoor worship services (which start next Sunday at 10 a.m.) get to the church at 8 a.m. on Sunday mornings to move equipment from Faith Lutheran to the park. THANK YOU to all the helpers, without whom our outdoor worship services would not be possible.
