The Joyful Noise Chime Choir played at the Lenten service last Wednesday. This was their first performance for our congregation, and they did a great job! Watch the video below!
KidPower: Spring Break
The sounds of games and laughter could be heard in the Youth Gathering Space at Faith Lutheran as some Hutchinson students spent part of their Spring Break at the church’s KidPower on Main program. They played games, did art projects, watched movies and learned about Jesus during their week off from school.
KidPower on Main is a program run by volunteers of Faith Lutheran on days off from school from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is the program’s second year.
The kids were eager to jump in front of the camera to show off their wooden bird artwork on Thursday afternoon. Check out the pictures below.
Many thanks are due to Shelly Grorud, Dick & Dorothy Desens, Pat Krueger, Alice Poshek, Sheri Brigden, Kacie Lange, Kirsten Grorud and Elaine Blade (if I missed anyone, please let me know by commenting on this post) for helping with KidPower during Spring Break. It’s a lot of work, a lot of fun… and so appreciated!
In Case You Missed It…
The Sunday School children filled the front of the church at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sun. Feb. 26 to learn about temptation during the “Faith Seeds” part of worship. The children had just finished performing “We Are Marching in the Light of God.” Their performance included African drum beats and the lyrics in the southern African Zulu language.

How to Talk to Your Kids about God
How do you pray with your children? How do you show them what it means to be a Christian? Did you know the church is here to help you find answers to those questions?
Introducing Faith @ Home: a monthly discussion/class/support group for parents about being the primary teachers of faith in their children’s lives. Our first meeting will be over coffee and treats on Sun. Feb. 5 at 9:15 a.m. in the new North Entry (door 1) at Faith Lutheran. Anyone who has the opportunity to influence the faith journey of a child is welcome to attend.
Contact Kacie Lange ([email protected]) with questions. If you are a Sunday School teacher and are interested in attending, let Kacie know and she will arrange for a substitute to teach your class that day.
