Local musicians have combined their talents this holiday season to create music for good causes. The collaborative “Awaken Your Holiday Spirit” CD will make a great gift for family and friends, and it is an amazing way to support Hutchinson-area charities, because ALL of the $15 cost will be donated to three local charities: the McLeod County Food Shelf, Common Cup and the United Way of McLeod County. “Awaken Your Holiday Spirit,” features music by Ronda Eckhart, Mona Hjerpe, John Rodeberg, Adam Krumrie, Brian Brosz and John “A-Frame” Beck.
The CD goes on sale following the “Awaken Your Holiday Spirit” concert on Mon. Dec. 5 at Zella’s in Hutchinson. The concert will feature performers from the CD. A social hour begins at 6 p.m., with a dinner at 7 p.m. The concert will support the same three charities as the CD. “Awaken Your Holiday Spirit” is also available online at tuneswoon.com. You can listen and purchase the digital download there. As with the CD version, ALL proceeds will be donated to the three local charities.
