Faith Lutheran is looking for a full-time
Faith Lutheran Church is strongly committed to confessional Lutheran theology and to creative ministry that meets the challenges of our day.
Principal Duties are to use a blend of traditional and contemporary styles to enhance all musical aspects of worship by providing instrumental leadership, accompaniment, directing and administrative support to Faith Lutheran’s music ministry.
Candidates should possess good organizational, leadership, communication and people skills in addition to musical abilities. Candidates should be able to read music and play the piano, as well as guitar. Any additional musical gifts would be appreciated. Must be comfortable leading worship (large and small groups) with an inviting style that encourages others to participate.
Responsibilities include directing vocal and possibly bell choirs, selecting music for choirs and special services, administering the music ministry, encouraging and arranging for special music and leading singing/worship at various times, as needed.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
- Personal or professional experience in music leadership, accompaniment, and performance preferred.
- Commitment to Biblical authority and the Lutheran Confessions, along with the theological statement of the Augustana District of LCMC is essential.

Faith Lutheran offers Sunday School on Sunday mornings from 9:05 – 10:00 a.m. for 3 year old children – 6th grade students.
Students will begin with a brief worship service in the Foundation and then will break into small groups based on age.

Sunday, October 30 ~ Reformation Sunday – 2nd graders receive Bibles / Confirmation Services in the afternoon.
Tuesday, November 1 ~ Faith Group Celebration
Sunday, December 4 ~ Trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Art – Luther Exhibit
