Beginning Sept. 10 through Oct. 22, Pastors Scott and Dave will begin a preaching series on Luther’s Small Catechism. This series will dovetail with what the Sunday school and confirmation students are learning this fall. Each week will focus on a different part of the catechism: The Ten Commandments, The Apostles’ Creed, The Lord’s Prayer, Holy Baptism, The Office of the Keys, and the Lord’s Supper. Let’s all learn (or re-learn) together the importance of this foundational Lutheran writing.
The bulletins will include discussion questions for families that will allow you to dig deeper into the weekly topic at home with one another.
There will be catechisms available for your use or to take home if you do not have one so you can follow along and study each section. There is also an app from CPH that can be used to put a copy of the catechism on your phone or tablet. If you go to the Google Play Store and type in Luther’s Small Catechism one option that will pop up is the Luther Rose with a small CPH in the lower right corner. If you download that to your device you will be able to use that to follow along.
