Faith Lutheran Church is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Director of Children and Family Ministry to work primarily with children from pre-school through sixth grade and their families. The position calls for a person to envision, create, coordinate, and administer ministry to children and their families in order to nurture their spiritual growth and development. The position requires a commitment to Lutheran theology and the ability to work in Christian harmony with various groups in the congregation that are involved in children’s ministry, along with creative, organizational, administrative, and leadership skills. Respect for confidential information is essential. Also helpful are skills in operating office machines, graphic arts, and computer equipment. A four-year college degree is preferred, but not required. Prior experience in children and family ministry is helpful.
