A Snapshot of the Life of a Flintern

Faith Lutheran Internship Program September – May
A Year to Grow!
Are you feeling called by God to congregational ministry? Are you craving Christian community? Do you want to take a year to immerse yourself in a healthy church learning and serving?
We are looking for candidates who are either discerning a vocation in the church or are pursuing a gap year of service and learning. Some interns may have just finished college, some may be in college and do the internship concurrently with their studies, and some will be fulfilling requirements for their ministry training (i.e., seminary vicarage).
During the Faith Lutheran Internship you will be immersed in the rhythms of congregational ministry. You will gain valuable experience in several different areas of ministry, learning from experienced ministry professionals. These areas include pastoral ministry, youth ministry, children’s ministry, and worship and music ministry.
In addition, our “Flinterns” enjoy intentional Christian community living at the Ansgar House, a duplex within walking distance of the church.
