Join with Faith Lutheran and Christ the King Lutheran of Hutchinson for the Reformation Festival on Oct. 28, 2012. This event to celebrate our Lutheran heritage will include participants from various area Lutheran churches. All are invited attend the events for the Reformation Festival, as listed below:
- 9:30 a.m. Dr. Steven Paulson presents Reformation Reflections on what the Reformation means for Lutherans today in the Faith Lutheran Sanctuary. Dr. Paulson is a gifted speaker and theologian, who is a professor of Systematic Theology at Luther Seminary.
- 10:45 a.m. Worship Service at Park Elementary in Hutchinson with guest preacher Dr. Steven Paulson. All Lutherans (and non-Lutherans!) invited. Dr. Paulson will preach at Faith’s 8 a.m. worship service. Faith will not hold worship at 10:10 a.m. on Oct. 28. Instead, you are invited to worship at the 10:45 a.m. service at Park Elementary.
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. German Dinner at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson
The worship service will also feature a mass choir and a brass ensemble to provide music. Singers and brass players from all area Lutheran congregations have been invited to play. Please contact Julie Guggemos in the Faith Lutheran Church office to sign up for the choir or brass ensemble.
