We are considering a change in worship times for Fall 2012 at Faith Lutheran. The goal is to create a time on Sunday mornings for an Education Hour, as well as to encourage families to worship together. Here is the current proposal:
- 8:00 a.m. – Traditional worship using mostly the Lutheran Book of Worship
- 9:15 a.m. – Education Hour: multiple studies, small groups and Sunday School would meet at this time.
- 10:15 and 10:30 a.m. – Two services offered: a contemporary service in the Sanctuary, and a more casual, laid-back service in the basement “Greenhouse” space.
None of these changes are official, and we’re still open to different ideas. This is why we’re showing you the plan now. Have initial thoughts or concerns?
