Although it is very hard to see Pastor Randy and Stephanie Freund leave Faith Lutheran Church, God’s call for them to pursue a new ministry venture in Perham, Minnesota, is unmistakable. We give thanks for their years of faithful ministry here and pray God’s richest blessings on their continued ministry.
In the next weeks, the leaders of Faith Lutheran will begin an extensive process to discern how the church might best move forward in this new era in its life. This will include:
- an exit interview with Pastor Randy to glean the wisdom and perspective of his long pastorate here
- a church council and ministry teams retreat that will focus on a variety of staffing and ministry opportunities now presented to Faith
- farewell events for Pastor Randy and Stephanie so the congregation can wish them well.
As this process moves forward, please pray constantly for God’s guidance and share your vision for Faith’s future. Watch for additional information throughout this transition period and let us know of any questions or concerns you might have.
