Missed last week’s live Nativity at Faith Lutheran? We’ve posted a photo gallery and a video of the event. We had great attendance for the Nativity at this year’s final Advent service, and the service ended with the singing of Christmas songs around the manger outside. Thank you to all the actors and behind-the-scenes crew who made this night so special!

What a response! A few weeks ago the Congregational Life Ministry Team asked members of Faith Lutheran to fill a rowboat, which was placed inside the church’s south entrance. Here’s what that boat looked like when the food was collected:
Thanks to the generous donations, we collected 535 pounds of food, which was given to the McLeod County Food Shelf and will fill the Thanksgiving tables of families in need around McLeod County.
All of your donations are sincerely appreciated!
“When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, ‘Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.’ Simon Answered, ‘Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.’ When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. The Congregational Life Ministry Team is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Food Drive. The goal is to share Thanksgiving dinner with those in need. The food items will be delivered to the food shelf on Nov. 21. The following nonperishable items are needed:
Money donations to purchase turkeys, potatoes, butter and pumpkin pies are also needed.
Please share what you can to help make this Thanksgiving a blessing to others! The boat is located inside the south entrance, near the Sanctuary.
