First Word Worship Service
This is a traditional worship service in the sanctuary using the Lutheran Book of Worship. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and second Sunday of each month as well as on some of the major church holy days.
Radio Broadcast (Pre-Recorded from previous week)
The First Word worship services are recorded and submitted to KDUZ to be aired the following Sunday at 8 a.m.
Live TV Broadcast of First Word Service
The First Word Service is broadcast live on HCVN Ch. 7 and on Mediacom on Ch. 7 each Sunday.
Pre-Recorded Services on TV
To watch the pre-recorded service from the past Sunday you can tune into Nuvera: Ch. 10 or Mediacom: Ch. 8 at 10 a.m.
Worship in Library Square
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to Library Square and join us for outdoor worship from May 25 - Sept. 7. Worship begins at 10:10 a.m. Communion is celebrated on the first and second Sunday of these summer months. In the case of bad weather the service will move down the street to the sanctuary.

Exercise Group
This is a group that likes to move. They meet every Tuesday throughout the year to walk/exercise to a video. Once in a while when the weather is nice the take a little walk outside. After this light workout there is time to rehydate and visit for a bit. Any and all are welcome anytime.
Prayer Group
This group meets weekly for one hour to pray for the church, the community, the world, etc. All are welcome to join on Tuesday's at 11 a.m. in the office conference room.
Lectionary Study
Prepare for next Sunday’s worship by studying the Bible texts with the pastor who will be preaching. Every Tuesday, all year, noon – 1 p.m. in the church office conference room. Middle School Madness
For students just beginning or just completing Middle School. This grup will meet at Christ the King except on July 1 - at OHCC and July 22 which will be a trip to Valley Fair (special permission slip needed for this event).

Faith Quilters
This group gathers monthly to work on so many projects. Helping hands of all (or no) sewing/quilting abilities are welcome to join in the fun.
Weekly Staff Meeting
The Faith Lutheran staff gathers weekly for a time of devotion, support, and planning.
Pastoral Care Team Meeting
The Pastoral Care (PC) Team meets weekly to review the needs of members who are homebound, hospitalized, etc.
FLY (Faith Lutheran Youth) Night
Wednesday nights beginning at 7 p.m. in the Youth Space at Faith Lutheran Church. We dig into the Bible, play games, and grow in comunity together. Completed 8th grade through high school seniors welcome!

This support group is for those with cancer, those who are in remission, and those who are caregivers of someone with cancer. It is open to members and non-members alike. Communion at the Oaks and Pines
Faith and Christ the King rotate monthly providing a communions service at the Oaks (at 1:30 p.m.) and the Pines (2 p.m.) each month. In 2025 Faith will lead in Jan/Mar/May/July/Sept/Nov and CtK the opposite months. Family members of residents are welcome to join them for these services.
