The First Word worship services are recorded and submitted to KDUZ to be aired the following Sunday at 8 a.m.
Live TV Broadcast of First Word Service
The First Word Service is broadcast live on HCVN Ch. 7 and on Mediacom on Ch. 7 each Sunday.
First Word Worship Service
This is a traditional worship service in the sanctuary using the Lutheran Book of Worship. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and second Sunday of each month as well as on some of the major church holy days.
Digging Deeper
Digging Deeper is an adult education hour on Sunday mornings. There are at least two options each week and you can find titles and topics in the monthly Faith Matters newsletter and weekly announcements.
Sunday School / Confirmation
Sunday school is for pre-school (potty trained children) through sixth-grade.Sixth-grade students will participate in Holy Communion instruction after the first of the year. Confirmation classes are for students in 7th and 8th -grade.
Pre-Recorded Services on TV
To watch the pre-recorded service from the past Sunday you can tune into Nuvera: Ch. 10 or Mediacom: Ch. 8 at 10 a.m.
Sanctuary Service and Foundation Service
Simultaneous services, a contemporary service in the Foundation and a blended service in the Sanctuary at the same time.Holy Communion is celebrated in the Sanctuary the 1st and 2nd Sunday of each month and in the Foundation on the 3rd and 4th Sunday's.

Monday Morning Bible Study Beginning Monday, September 15. The topic this year is Shaping Israel for Rest: A Study of Numbers and Deuteronomy. The class meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Faith Matters Assembly
A group of volunteers gather to put prepare the monthly newsletter for the mail. Extra hands are always welcome!
Matins
Join the Faith staff in person in the sanctuary, or via Facebook Tuesday - Thursday at 9 a.m. for a morning matins service.Tuesday and Thursday will be two readings and a brief homily.Wednesdays format is a musical version of matins.
Exercise Group
This is a group that likes to move. They meet every Tuesday throughout the year to walk/exercise to a video. Once in a while when the weather is nice the take a little walk outside. After this light workout there is time to rehydate and visit for a bit. Any and all are welcome anytime.
Prayer Group
This group meets weekly for one hour to pray for the church, the community, the world, etc. All are welcome to join on Tuesday's at 11 a.m. in the office conference room.
Lectionary Study
Prepare for next Sunday’s worship by studying the Bible texts with the pastor who will be preaching. Every Tuesday, all year, noon – 1 p.m. in the church office conference room. Weekly Staff Meeting
The Faith Lutheran staff gathers weekly for a time of devotion, support, and planning.
Pastoral Care Team Meeting
The Pastoral Care (PC) Team meets weekly to review the needs of members who are homebound, hospitalized, etc.
56er’s
This weekly program is designed for students in fifth and sixth grade and their friends. Time will be spent in Bible study, playing games, having a snack and supervised social time. There will be bus transportation for sixth graders and the fifth graders will walk to Faith with a chaperone.
Kids’ Music Club
This group will meet with Austin in the Music Room each week. They will also sing and play instruments occassionally in worship. Please make sure Austin ahs updated contact information for all parents so that he can communicate these extra events.
FLY (Faith Lutheran Youth) Night
Wednesday nights beginning at 7 p.m. in the Youth Space at Faith Lutheran Church. We dig into the Bible, play games, and grow in comunity together. Completed 8th grade through high school seniors welcome!

Wednesday schedules vary - a typical week is from 3:45-5:30 p.m., however, there are some mentor meetings which are from 5:30-6:30 p.m., during Lent students (and families) attend worship at 6:30 and then meet with their small groups for about a half hour after worship. Faith Serves the High School Free Lunch
Faith Lutheran Church (led by Kristen Durst) is responsible for preparing and serving the high school free lunch a handful of times each year. Kristen needs a lot of helping hands to make this meal a success. Adults are encouraged to plug in and help with this ministry.
