1) We’re called to be more righteous than the Pharisees and to do good works as salt and light, and yet the Isaiah reading describes how difficult it is to practice righteousness. How do we reconcile this?
2) What’s the difference between being told to BE light and salt, and being told that you ARE light and salt?
3) How does your righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees?
