Advents Past and Present (Links to services will be posted at the bottom of this page the day after each service)
During Advent, Faith Lutheran holds mid-week services each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. This year, the theme of those services will be Advents Past and Present. Each week will highlight a person from Christian history whose commemoration day falls during December and how their stories reflect on our lives today.
November 30—Santa Lucia (See link to this service at the bottom of the page)
(Come early for the soup supper from 5-6 p.m.)
December 7—St. Nicholas
December 14—Katharina von Bora
(Stay after worship for hot cocoa, coffee and Christmas treats)
December 21—St. Stephen
For all four services, we will use the Holden Evening Prayer liturgy, combined with Advent and Christmas songs. These services are a great opportunity to pause during the busyness of the holiday season, gather in God’s presence to worship, and celebrate Christ’s coming into our hearts and lives.Christmas Poinsettia Order Form
